LOVE: And so it goes… I’d like to take the time out to thank everyone for all the love and support you guys have been showing us recently. With the re-release of a very beloved Project of ours, we are humbled by the positive response we have been getting on our work. It’s been an amazing 2 years, being an official brand and all. The first year we made many mistakes but ultimately we learned from them. We made countless connections with great people by being genuine, down to earth and fun to be around. Our artform speaks for itself, whether it be the art of networking, designing and promoting. People seem to connect with us and we’re honored to have such a strong fan-base in the Philly-DMV-NYC-Jersey areas, among others. Anyhow, we are definitely on a roll the past 6 months and I feel that our work from day 1 speaks for itself (December ‘07). We started as a bunch of college kids who loved to party and wanted to wear our own designs and now we’re a legit brand with strong supporters and a focused mindset. I want to thank everyone that took the time out to come to our parties, take part in photoshoots, help promote our endeavors, buy our clothing, visit our blog, blog about us, tweet about us, take photos with us, drink with us, people who wanna collab with us and especially everyone listed in our “Family” section up top.

HATE: And now the hard part… With great success and admiration, there seems to be a void among the “streetwear” bigwigs. Sad really. Being that we don’t consider ourselves to be a streetwear/lifestyle brand, I guess it’s only right you wouldn’t find our stuff being on any of the major “hyped” blogospheres. Funny how certain brands don’t take notice of the power you have until they need you or until they are forced to take notice thru popular demand. I mean at the end of the day, it’s cool with me. We are who we are and we always will be genuine, artistic and trendsetting people who have a better sense of the “street” than these other OG brands. I could keep going on and on AND ON about this subject but these are my views and not the views of AnmlHse so I’ll refrain from tending to this rant any more LOL

THE FUTURE: These last few lines are dedicated to the future of this brand. Well, we have our new collection dropping in the next few weeks. Some of the designs from the new collection have already been dropped at various retailers/online sites but will be available for sale in our online shop,  ”The Zoo” really soon. We are also working on our Summer collection as we speak and have many monthly parties/events for all you party ANMLS out there who are getting tired of this cold, snowy weather. Again, we truly do appreciate all you guys who visit the blog and stay updated on the ANML antics. 2008 was about progression, 2009 was about branding and 2010 is all about expansion. Support your local scene :O)

When we first started this last year, the purpose of this project was to introduce folks to the people in our young generation bringing life to Philly and representing the city in every way they possibly can. Whether through art, music, or just plain entertainment, these fine folks weren’t ashamed of where they were from and showed it. This year we expanded to the DMV, with the help of JuJu and 1st Impressions Studio, to introduce some of the folks that support us and are also making an impact in their area. We are now pleased to introduce our second installment of the Big Deal Project. Enjoy, while listening to the fine tunes hand selected by Brian the Dogg.

You’ve probably seen us rockin our new Snapbacks in the last month or two. Or maybe even seen them in party photos, but for those who haven’t here’s a sneak peek (the design will also be available in crewnecks as well). To coincide with the upcoming “2nd BIG DEAL Project”, we also have been slowly building up new designs and getting them printed for our Spring release later next month. Tons of new releases dropping 2010 but for now, peep game.

Whatsup fellow ANMLS! Haven’t posted much content lately as we’ve been busy tryna get our Spring Collection in full throttle. But here’s some New Music from the Sim-PLEX homies for your listening pleasure, the track is called Human Nature (Listen HERE). Be on the lookout for more releases on here in the next few weeks up until their new EP drops, “The Definition EPic”.

Funny how small the world can be sometimes and how many mutual friends are out here grinding because they share a passion for Art, no matter the medium in which it’s produced. These tracks were emailed to me and after taking a listen I definitely bumped “Tear The Club Up” back to back  a couple of times. It’s reminiscent of the early 2000 club raps that New York became popular for so I definitely fucks with it. Upon listening to the other tracks, I found out that these dudes are more than just fellow Party ANMLS but are lyrical musicians with something to say. Especially their rendition of Drake’s song, Fear, talking about the trials and tribulations of being taken seriously as an Artist around your peers. I can definitely relate to that. Definitely take a listen to the tracks and if you like them, spread the word. Tell ‘em Panda sent ya!
